An athlete is made up of experiences and circumstances. The companionship, the support, the advice; in short, the team, makes every runner who they are. And I, like many other athletes, have a lot to thank the teams I've been on, my teammates and coaches. Without them I would be different, I don't know how, but definitely different.
I started the sports day in Atletismo Friol, to which I will always have a special affection for teaching me how this sport works and for helping me to grow even in the inexperience of the first moments.
After a brief stage in the Agrupación Atlética Mazí, now I'm part of A Estrada Athletics, under the training of Marcos Otero. With them it's been four years already (with a brief interval of absence this past season) full of athletic experience, laughter and good memories.
Finally, this past school year I was lucky enough to get a scholarship to study in the United States, in the wonderful state of Oregon, and was part of the North Medford High School Cross Country and Track&Field team. A team that welcomed me as one of the family, that taught me, supported me and introduced me to the deepest part of American sport.
Without all those people, I wouldn't have become the athlete I am and I thought they deserved a special mention in this blog.
See you soon!
